A still image cannot show whether a companion stays recognizable while running or whether its waiting and failed states look different. Start with these three animation profiles, then inspect their full state grids at the size you expect to use. A quieter idle loop may suit focused work; clearer direction changes may matter more if you prefer a moving companion.
Already have an image? Check its animation grid. For a different subject or style, build a new pet brief.
The standing pose keeps a green terminal badge on the chest; running turns the unicorn sideways so the horn and rainbow tail show its direction. Choose it for a bold silhouette, then compare the lowered-head failure pose with the calmer seated waiting pose.
Natural coat and softer motionTilly: a quieter seated companionTilly keeps a stable seated outline during idle, with small eye and head changes. Running lowers and lengthens the body while the tail stays raised. Compare the detailed calico markings at a small scale before choosing this softer style over a high-contrast pixel mascot.
Detailed insect silhouetteCicada: wings stay front-facingCicada keeps its broad wing outline through most states and moves its limbs and body height instead of turning sideways. Direction changes are subtler than Pixelcorn's; check the running rows carefully if left-versus-right motion is important to you.
