A contained wave
The waving row raises one paw above the rim while the box stays beneath the cat. The jump lifts the entire box; it does not switch to an exposed full-body cat.

Before you choose
Boxcat keeps a cardboard box as its main silhouette. Only the head, paws and box angle change prominently, making the container part of every state rather than an occasional accessory.
The waving row raises one paw above the rim while the box stays beneath the cat. The jump lifts the entire box; it does not switch to an exposed full-body cat.
The failed row lowers the face behind the rim and adds tears. Waiting mostly changes the eyelids. The difference is easiest to see by comparing head height against the top edge of the box.
Directional movement tilts the box from side to side. Choose this if a broad, stable outline matters more than visible leg movement, and check that the small facial details remain readable at your chosen scale.
Compare with Mochi: Mochi shows exposed paws and a stretched running body; Boxcat preserves the box outline throughout movement.
