Privacy
Privacy policy for Codex Pets.
Codex Pets does not provide accounts, public uploads, comments, or payments. Some tool inputs stay in your browser, while hosting, analytics, and advertising providers receive normal web request and device information as described below.
Information you type into the tools
Manifest text, prompt fields, and custom spritesheet URLs are handled in your browser for the current session. This site does not send that form content to an application database.
External spritesheet URLs
If you paste an external spritesheet URL into the preview tool, your browser requests that image from the URL you supplied. That external host may receive normal request information such as IP address, user agent, and referrer behavior controlled by the browser.
Clipboard behavior
Copy buttons attempt to place generated text on your clipboard. If the browser denies clipboard permission, the site falls back to showing a manual-copy status instead of storing the text elsewhere.
Hosting logs
A deployment host may keep standard web server logs for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. Those logs are controlled by the hosting provider used for the final deployment.
Analytics and site reliability
We use Google Analytics to understand page visits and actions such as opening a pet or copying a setup prompt. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate interaction patterns such as navigation friction and scroll behavior. These services may receive page URLs, referrers, browser and device details, approximate location derived from an IP address, identifiers, and interaction events. Tool form content is not intentionally included in analytics events.
Advertising and Google data use
Codex Pets includes Google AdSense code for site verification and may display Google advertising after the site is approved. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other device or browser identifiers to deliver, measure, limit, and personalize ads where permitted. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services on the Google partner sites page.
Consent and advertising choices
Where required, a Google-provided consent message asks visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland about advertising and related data use. Available choices depend on region and the controls Google presents. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect measurements or advertising preferences.
Questions and rights requests
For a privacy question, correction request, or concern about information sent through this site, use the contact page and identify the page and issue without including sensitive personal information.
