Mothseal turns stationery into a moth: four cream paper-like wings surround a black binder-clip face, amber eyes and red crossed threads. Its feathered antennae and uneven wing edges give it more texture than a simple pixel mascot. We inspected the original atlas; this is a visual review, not a desktop installation test.

What makes Mothseal distinct?
Use these visible package traits to decide whether this pet fits your desktop before you install it.
Paper wings around a metal face
The front-facing idle frames expose the clip's silver loop above two amber eyes. Dark gray patches break up the cream wings, while red thread crosses the body. The materials are the main attraction: choose Mothseal if an archive or craft motif matters more than a natural insect shape.
Fine details need room
The wing outline remains recognizable at a small size, but the individual antenna branches, red threads and pinhole eyes become much harder to distinguish. Start with the larger preview, then reduce the display size to check which details survive on your own screen.
Check both light and dark backgrounds
Cream wings contrast well against a dark background; the black clip and dark antenna edges are less prominent there. On a light background, the metal face reads clearly while pale wing tips have less contrast. The atlas has transparency around the pet, so your desktop becomes part of its appearance.

How Mothseal's states read
These observations come from the original package spritesheet, not a generic species description.
Idle, waiting and running stay restrained
Idle keeps a symmetrical spread-wing pose with small shifts in the antennae and clip. Waiting stays close to that front view. The row labeled Running also keeps the broad silhouette; it does not introduce a laptop or a status panel. These states are less distinct at a glance than companions with large state-specific props.
Sideways movement and a raised limb
The left and right running rows angle the face and wings toward the direction of travel, with alternating small legs beneath the body. Wave raises a dark limb beside the clip. Jump first narrows and lowers the wings, then lifts the body into a taller, expanded pose.
Failure closes the wings; review tilts the face
The failure row gradually folds the upper wings around the clip, hides much of the branching antennae and leaves the amber eyes visible. Review instead tips the clip and antennae to one side before returning upright. Wing closure is the stronger cue; the review tilt benefits from a larger preview.
Compare a softer animal whose laptop and magnifying glass make work and review easier to tell apart.
