Awawa Hyrax is a rounded brown animal with a pale belly, small ears, fine whiskers and two tiny front teeth. Its strongest contrast is between upright posing and a low, four-legged side run. The face rewards a larger preview; much of that expression becomes fine texture when reduced.

Pet profile
What makes Awawa Hyrax distinct?
Use these visible package traits to decide whether this pet fits your desktop before you install it.
Round body first, whiskers second
The oval belly and dark nose identify the character before its fur, teeth and whiskers do. Several whisker and hair-edge pixels are pink-purple in the original asset. Those fine lines are visible enlarged but should not be the reason to choose it for a very small display.
Travel changes the body shape
The directional runs stretch the hyrax into a low side profile, showing its snout, back and alternating feet. Running instead keeps the body upright with a small stepping motion. That difference makes travel more noticeable than the standing activity loop.
Warm colors with a small-detail tradeoff
The tan belly separates from the darker coat on both pale and dark backgrounds. Dark feet and the lower outline lose separation on a dark surface, while tiny facial marks can merge into the fur at reduced scale. Prefer its broad shape over its smallest details.
Animation review
How Awawa Hyrax's states read
These observations come from the original package spritesheet, not a generic species description.
A small paw wave and a tucked jump
Wave raises one paw beside the face, keeping most of the body still. Jump compresses the belly, lifts the small feet and returns to a squat. Neither gesture spreads as widely as Eagle's wings.
Failure curls the body downward
The eyes close and the shoulders fold until the hyrax curls toward its belly. The final frame lies low with the head near the feet. This large height change remains clearer than the earlier sad mouth and eyelid changes.
Review brings a paw toward the mouth
Waiting largely preserves the front-facing stance with a blink and small head changes. Review leans the head, closes or narrows the eyes and brings a paw toward the chin. There is no review tool or speech bubble, making the distinction easy to miss when small.
Compare a cyan character whose pink head frills create a much brighter, wider silhouette than brown fur.
