# Codex Pets

> An independent community site for browsing, previewing and installing Codex pet packages, with practical guides for people using Codex.

Use the gallery to choose a finished pet, the install guide to set it up, and the sprite preview to inspect animations. The brief builder prepares instructions for an external AI-assisted hatch-pet workflow; it does not generate finished spritesheets on this website. Package attribution is not a blanket license. Codex Pets is not affiliated with OpenAI.

For changing Codex behavior, check each guide's scope, review date and linked official sources. Installation of Codex itself and installation of a pet package are different tasks.
